Who we are
This website, cardboardcreative.co.uk, is run by Cardboard Creative Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom and VAT registered.

This policy explains what personal data we hold, why we hold it, and what you can do about it. We have kept it short and plain, because the situation is genuinely simple.
What we collect, and when
There are no contact forms, no newsletter signup, no accounts to create, and nothing to buy.
If you accept analytics cookies, we collect data about how you use this site via Google Analytics: which pages you visit, how long you stay, and how you arrived. This data is tied to a cookie identifier, not to you personally. You can decline or withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookies.
The only other personal data we hold is what you choose to send us. If you email us, we hold your email address and whatever you wrote. Nothing more.
Why we hold it
To reply to you, and to keep track of the conversation if it carries on. That is the whole of it. We do not use your details for anything you did not get in touch about.
How long we keep it
We keep email correspondence for up to two years from the last time we were in contact. After that we delete it, unless we have a clear reason to hold it longer, such as an ongoing piece of work or a legal obligation. If you would rather we deleted something sooner, just ask.
Fonts and third-party services
The site loads its typefaces from two outside services: Google Fonts and Fontshare. When your browser fetches a font file from them, it makes a request to their servers, and that request can include your IP address and basic information about your browser. This is how font delivery works across most of the web.
We do not control what Google or Fontshare do with that information, and we do not receive it ourselves. If you want to know how they handle it, their own policies are the place to look:

Cookies
If you accept analytics cookies, our code sets Google Analytics cookies on your device. If you decline, no cookies are set by us. The font services we use may also set their own. We have set this out in full on our cookie policy.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete it
- Object to how we are using it
To do any of these, email hello@cardboardcreative.co.uk. We will respond within the time the law allows, which is normally one month.
If you are not happy
If you think we have mishandled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it to be sold. We do not add you to a marketing list or send you anything you did not ask for. If you email us, you get a reply, and that is the extent of it.
